The 2011 Kickapoo Valley Acoustic Music Association Songwriter results are in....

We would like to thank our sponsors: String Swing, Dave's Guitar, SSE Music, Brett Huus and Soundstrations and Mike Stidolph Studios have awarded our top three finalists prizes each year for Larryfest.

Six judges on our panel have selected the following songs and songwriters. Judges were asked to select the top five songs on their own. They did not have access to the name of the songwriter. They submitted their final entries and we tallied the results. The final average leaves us with the top scoring finalist positions which are included here. The honorable mention category listed below includes the songs that our judges may have loved...but did not score the most points. In the end, we want all of our KVAMA songwriters to know that WE LOVED ALL OF YOUR SONGS THIS YEAR! This was a very difficult year for our judges since we had so many talented songwriters who are well skilled at the art of songwriting. Thanks to all of you for sharing your songs with us and we hope to see you at Larryfest!
